We regret to announce that Carlos Pereira Santos, journalist, farmer and friend, passed away today, March 4th, at the Pedro Hispano Hospital in Matosinhos, where he had been hospitalized.
Carlos Santos' health was very fragile and was exacerbated by the diabetes he was facing. On February 22, he was undergoing routine hemodialysis when he suffered a heart attack. Since then, his health deteriorated rapidly, and today he passed away.
Carlos Santos left behind two children, many friends, and a legacy in the worlds of journalism and literature.
