Workshop on Obesity to commemorate World Day in Porto

More than 38% of the world's population is overweight and 14% suffers from obesity. The disease is a risk factor for several other chronic diseases, including type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and some types of cancer.
The 'Obesity in First Person' workshop aims to promote awareness of this disease and provide useful information to people suffering from obesity. This event will also help shed light on some of the taboos and stigmas that still exist regarding obesity.
